Aniqa received the crown during a ceremony at a hotel in Lahore. Meanwhile, Dr Shafaq Akhtar, Miss Pakistan Universal 2022, presented the title. Ataullah Gujjar, Mr Pakistan World, also attended the event.
Aniqa is 24 years old and is pursuing a master’s degree in accounting and auditing. In addition, she has already represented Pakistan in several international beauty pageants.
She previously competed at Miss Earth, Miss Global, Miss Cosmo, Miss Eco International and Miss Aura International. Furthermore, she won four titles at the Miss Freedom of the World competition in Kosovo.
Beyond pageantry, Aniqa plans to support important social causes. As part of the Miss World Beauty with a Purpose campaign, she will raise awareness about thalassaemia, a blood disorder that affects thousands of people in Pakistan.
The Miss Pakistan World Organisation has prepared Pakistani women for international beauty competitions since 2002. According to the organisation’s president, Sonia Ahmed, Pakistan’s first official participation in Miss World marks a historic achievement.
She said the milestone reflects the growing international recognition of Pakistani women. Moreover, she added that they continue to excel across many professional and cultural fields.
Although Pakistan has competed in several international beauty pageants, it has never officially participated in Miss World. Therefore, Aniqa’s appearance at Miss World 2026 marks a significant milestone and opens a new chapter for the country on the global stage.
