Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing holds free health camp at Hawke’s Bay

A free health camp was organized at the Hawke’s Bay Younisabad Basic Health Unit under the auspices of Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing. Hundreds of deserving patients of the area were provided with free check-ups, tests, medicines, spectacles and other facilities in the camp.

Inaugurating the camp, the hospital’s president, renowned industrialist Muhammad Bashir Janmuhammad, said that the country is going through critical economic conditions and the lives of the common man are facing difficulties due to increasing inflation. In these circumstances, it is our national responsibility to take steps to improve the lives of the common man. The free health camp of Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing is a high example of human service.

The dedication and compassion with which the nursing students have made this effort is commendable. On this occasion, Director of Nursing Sindh Najma Mangi said that through the true spirit of human service and professional ethics, the nursing workforce can deal with the challenges faced by the health sector.

The Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Dr. Khalid Iqbal, said that it is imperative to promote health awareness to prevent diseases. A healthy society is the guarantee of a bright future for the country and nation. Director of Kharadar School of Nursing, Talat Parveen Shah, said that awareness of protection from diseases can be created through the proper use of modern social media.

she said that the young nursing workforce, with determination, courage and dedication, should make the environment healthy and humane and fulfill their professional responsibility. On this occasion, the Medical Director of the hospital, Brigadier Dr. Aftab Ahmed, Principal of Kharadar School of Nursing, Muhammad Shahid, THO, elders of the area and social leaders also spoke.

Meanwhile, the guests inspected various stalls set up at the free health camp and reviewed the facilities provided. Meanwhile, students of Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing surveyed the area before the free health camp, gained awareness about health problems and, keeping in mind the information obtained, provided medical information, necessary materials and services for the prevention and treatment of diseases.
