Lahore: As Pakistan braces for its annual smog season, foodpanda, the country’s leading online delivery platform, has launched its “Breath of Care” initiative, distributing 8,000 comprehensive Smog Safety Kits to its riders across Pakistan.
The nationwide program aims to safeguard delivery riders against the health risks posed by hazardous air quality, reinforcing the company’s dedication to occupational safety and community well-being.
Each Smog Safety Kit includes high-grade filtration masks, anti-smog glasses, anti-allergy medication, honey lemon lozenges, Joshanda sachets, skin protectants, rose water, and reflective bike stickers for enhanced road visibility.
“Our riders are the absolute heroes of our platform,” said Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics at foodpanda. “As we enter the smog season, their safety and well-being are our top priority. This initiative is a tangible reflection of our ‘Breath of Care’ promise — ensuring every rider feels protected and supported while serving customers.”
The distribution effort was supported by foodpanda’s internal pharmacy team and partner brands including Bright Vision, Herbion, Hashmi, and Cool & Cool, which contributed essential products to the campaign.
foodpanda reaffirmed its broader commitment to fostering a healthier and safer work environment through proactive health measures and sustainable operational practices.
